Geo-Fence
What is a Geo-Fence?
A Geo-Fence is a virtual boundary created by you on a specific geographical area. Once a boundary is created, each unit can be programmed to notify the owner/administrator of that unit either entering or exiting the Geo-Fence. Notifications can be sent by either e-mail or text message.
How does it work?
The owner/administrator of a unit will enter either an address or parameters into the same website used to track and manger their units. When a vehicle either enters or exits the set parameter, a notification is sent via e-mail, text message or both. You will be able to set each unit to send an update upon the first breach of the Geo-Fence and continue regular updates in as little as 1 to 2 minute intervals, depending on the type of unit you are using.
